A taste of Scotland

We are fairly isolated up here in the Highlands, but with the power of the internet here at http://www.floralpride.co.uk/ we have customers from all over the world.
Many brides from America and Australia want to have a small part of their Scottish heritage at their wedding. This takes many forms from a small thistle buttonhole to the whole bridal party in their clan dress.

Floralpride can create your bouquet to show your Scottish heritage, with a vast choice of thistles, heathers, bracken and wildflowers, all finished with satin or tartan ribbons of your choice.

Visit us at http://www.floralpride.co.uk/ to see a small selection of artificial flowers already arranged or we can make your design for you

Aberdeen Wedding Exhibition

As we started the New Year, we had to prepare for the wedding exhibition at the AECC.

This is the largest wedding event that we show at. It is also one of our more local ones!

We started to set up our custom built stand on friday, and by the time we had finished, we were more than slightly tired. On getting home we had to reprint 500 pamphlets as the ones that were done and ready had some how got into the Bermuda triangle when we relocated in November.

Back bright and breezy on the saturday morning we felt ready to meet our brides.

Over 1600 guests attended on saturday, and it was just as busy again on sunday, many brides to be coming back to see what they had missed th day before.

Silk wedding flowers are now so advanced that many people came to us convinced that we were showing fresh flowers, and quite a few took some convincing that these were real 'faux flowers'

All too soon thhe weekend was over, the stand dismantled and us back home. Very tired but also quite contented.
